Welcome to Remington Pet Ranch, where effective training meets compassionate care. We are dedicated to helping you build an unbreakable bond with your canine companion through science-based, positive reinforcement techniques. Our experienced trainers prioritize your pet’s well-being and provide personalized guidance to address their unique needs and help them flourish. We would love for you to join our Ranch family, where your dog’s happiness and success are our top priorities.

Day School Academies

Looking for a way to train your pup that is fun for them and convenient for you?

Drop off your pup with us for the day, where they will get multiple one-on-one training sessions and enrichment play times. With our day school academies, you don’t have to rush to a group class right after work or carve out a slot for private training at home. We utilize Google Classroom to create an interactive platform for your questions, support and homework.

We offer two training pathways, Puppy Prep Academy and Paws & Order Academy. Both include two school days per week as well as 24/7 access to our video library.

 

Remington Pet Ranch Dog Training

Puppy Prep Academy

This academy is for puppies 4 months to 1 year of age.

  • Provides healthy socialization, builds self confidence and develops resilience
  • Develops the essential skill of focus and a solid foundation of basic cues including sit, down, wait, leave it and off
  • Creates foundational habits that set your pup up to move smoothly into loose leash walking and long distance recall work
  • Utilizes a game based approach that provides enrichment and fun for both you and your pup
  • Provides you with the necessary information, coaching and skills needed to successfully navigate and survive puppyhood

At the end of their first six weeks of training, you and your pup are eligible to test for AKC’s S.T.A.R Puppy Certification. Become a Remington Pet Ranch Star! ⭐️

Paws & Order Academy

This academy offers a customized training plan full of goals that are chosen by you and your trainer. We offer AKC Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Team certification through this academy as well.

  • Provides a solid foundation of basic cues including sit, down, wait, leave it and off
  • Builds advanced skills such as long distance recall and loose leash walking
  • Improves impulse control and focus which corrects unwanted behaviors such as jumping and door dashing
  • Utilizes a game based approach that provides enrichment and fun for both you and your pup
  • Provides you with the information, support and skills necessary for your dog to achieve their full potential for a happy, healthy and engaged life

Getting started with Day School

  • A Meet & Greet with our trainer is required prior to being accepted into class. The cost is $50, which will be applied to the cost of class, if accepted. Please email training@remingtonpetranch.com for further information or to schedule a Meet & Greet.
  • A complete Remington Pet Ranch profile is required prior to scheduling any service. If you do not already have one, you can create one here.
  • Pricing - $800 for 3-week program, $1400 for 6-week program
